Meet the Dais


Sara Khemani

Chair

My name is Sara Khemani and I am so excited to serve as your chair for the GADHOC. UCBMUN was one of the first clubs I joined in college and has been an extremely big part of my college life and I am so excited to share that with all of you! I have been involved with Model UN since the 8th grade and I compete on the collegiate circuit as a GA del.

I was born in Bombay, India and spent most of my life growing up in Singapore and now go to UC Berkeley, where I am on the pre-PHD track majoring in Molecular and Cell Biology and Political Economy. My academic interests lie at the intersection of global health, research, and policy and I hope to work in pharma in either immunology or oncology in the future. I also do research at a lab in Berkeley and UCSF and am involved with Berkeley’s Healthcare Business Association and Project RISHI. Outside of school, I love binge watching TV shows (Modern Family and Gossip Girl are my favorites!), getting matcha or poke with my friends, and going on walks or hikes around the Berkeley hills. I also absolutely love going to the beach and going into SF to the marina and also shop.

Nadhi Naval

HELLO EVERYONE!! My name is Nadhi and I am a sophomore studying Political Science and Sociology. I am from Denver, Colorado (shoutout Chipotle and South Park) and I have been a part of UCBMUN since my freshman fall. I am super excited to be one of your chairs for this year’s GADHOC committee, I know it will be such a fun and funny weekend for us all.
